5 Sep 2026 — Server

Production update - 5 September 2026

Autobot
- Autobot now runs securely on the Canary server; the standard Tibia client is only the control interface and no executable injection is required.
- Type !autobot or !autobot menu in-game to open the settings window.
- The menu controls automatic attacking, healing, mana recovery and cures, spell usage, regular Quick Loot, independent adjacent gold collection, HP and mana thresholds (1-99%), and search radius (1-8 tiles).
- Added vocation-default spell-list reset and custom priority lists through !autobot spellwords <spell, spell> and !autobot healwords <spell, spell>. Spells still use Canary normal vocation, level, mana and cooldown validation.
- Added Disable All / !autobot disableall, which switches off every assist including independent gold collection and clears target/follow.
- Added Stop Combat / !autobot stopcombat, which disables automatic target acquisition and clears target/follow while leaving healing and loot unchanged.
- Character settings persist across logout and restart. Session and revision checks prevent stale menus or old logins from overwriting newer settings.
- Existing OTClient builds can use the negotiated revisioned settings protocol on extended opcode 202; the standard client uses Canary built-in modal windows.
- Legacy compatibility remains: !autobot off does not disable independent gold, and !autobot stop only clears the current target. Use the new safety actions for complete shutdown or persistent combat stop.

Canary fixes
- Fixed confirmed money-loss and charge-handling defects in the manual and magic gold converters.
- Corrected depot teleport validation, payment failure handling and refunds.
- Fixed Soulpit wave counting for player summons and the Ice Islands filled-jug consumption defect.
- Corrected encounter cancellation/callback handling and guild-war death/scoring persistence.
- Prevented failed-login logs from exposing stored password hashes.

Website
- Updated current server information, rates and skull durations; corrected Monk vocation-family highscores and catalog status messaging.
- Added clearer getting-started navigation and truthful account/recovery guidance.
- Enabled Secure, HttpOnly and SameSite session cookies on HTTPS.
- Latest News now reads the newest public changelog entries automatically on every request, so published server updates appear without manually duplicating a news article.

Client and depot release - 5 September 2026

Windows client
- !autobot and /depot now have 3x wider windows (735 pixels instead of 245) and 3x content height, limited to available window space. The selection list uses the extra room; font size stays unchanged.
- Both changes are included in the main Windows 15.25 client download. New installations need no separate UI patch.
- Existing installations can use the combined optional Autobot + Depot update from Downloads: close Tibia, back up bin/client.exe, replace it with the update, then restart normally.
- Optional client updates will be cumulative, with matching changes included in the main client. Previous patch packages remain available.
- All 2,197 bundled minimap files and other non-executable files were preserved unchanged. The separately reported missing minimap areas are not claimed as fixed.
- Automated Qt layout tests passed. A real Windows in-game acceptance test remains pending.

Depot travel
- /depot now opens a menu of unlocked towns instead of immediately travelling through text arguments. Select a town and explicitly press Travel; Close, Enter and Escape do not charge a travel fee.
- Travel still costs 500 gold from bank/backpack. Destination validation, payment checks and refunds remain in place.
- Fixed Rathleton discovery: the main depot hall on floor 7 was outside the old detector. All 32 lockers were verified against the loaded staging map; the command and automatic tracker now recognize the main hall while retaining the old floor-6 location.
- After reconnecting, open a Rathleton locker once, then use /depot to record and select the destination. The server fix is deployed; 36 depot regression tests passed.

Website
- Removed the Monsters, Spells and Gallery submenu entries. Their direct pages were not deleted.
- Updated Downloads to identify the integrated main client and the latest combined optional update. The older connection-only patch tool is clearly labelled as not including the enlarged windows.

All-town depot discovery fix - 5 September 2026

- Fixed the general /depot discovery issue: the old 13-town list and single-floor radius checks missed valid depots, including Issavi. Discovery and the background tracker now use one shared registry of 471 audited public lockers across 21 towns and their depot floors.
- Added Issavi, Kazordoon, Ankrahmun, Farmine, Darashia, Gray Beach, Feyrist and Marapur to the supported destinations. Existing unlocked towns and valid established travel locations are preserved.
- Discovery checks the actual opened locker instead of a stale last-depot counter. Known copied locker IDs in Yalahar are resolved to Yalahar rather than incorrectly unlocking Darashia. Private-house lockers are excluded.
- Reopen the depot locker after reconnecting and type /depot while it is open. Keep it open briefly to let the automatic tracker record the visit. Past clicks that the old code failed to record cannot be reconstructed automatically.
- The 500-gold fee, explicit Travel confirmation, validation and refunds remain unchanged. Destinations are rechecked against the live map before payment.
- 989 automated tests passed. Private staging verified all 471 public lockers and all 21 destination access areas against the loaded map. Production was restarted and checked online. Final player-side confirmation is still welcome.
- This is a server-side fix: no new client or optional patch download is required. Both existing client packages retain the enlarged Autobot and Depot windows.

Latest News loading fix and default theme - 5 September 2026

- Fixed Latest News failing to finish loading in the tibiacom theme when the optional poll module is absent. The sidebar now checks that the poll table and required columns exist before querying it; installed polls continue to render normally.
- Set tibiacom as the default website theme. Existing visitor-selected themes remain available.
- Verified complete home, Latest News, Downloads and Changelog pages using fresh requests. Existing articles and changelog history are preserved. No game-client download or game-server restart is required.

Cumulative client R4: double-click actions - 5 September 2026

- In /depot, double-click a city to trigger Travel directly. The normal 500-gold fee and server-side travel checks still apply. Enter and Escape retain the menu's close behavior.
- In !autobot, double-click an ON/OFF option to toggle it. Double-click a numeric setting to open its picker, then double-click a value to apply it. The existing Select and Apply buttons remain available.
- Double-click and generic keyboard activation are separated so a single double-click does not dispatch two actions or immediately toggle a setting back.
- R4 is cumulative: it includes the previous 3x Autobot and Depot windows. It is included in the main Windows 15.25 download and available as the latest optional update on Downloads. Earlier patch files remain available.
- Existing users: close Tibia, back up bin/client.exe, replace it with the executable from the R4 optional ZIP, and restart the client. No game-server restart is needed. All bundled minimap and other non-executable client files are unchanged.
- Automated Qt 6.9.3 layout and interaction-signal tests passed, including duplicate-dispatch prevention and missing Travel button handling. Real Windows in-game acceptance remains pending.

Cumulative client R5: keep Autobot selection - 5 September 2026

- The main !autobot menu now remembers the selected setting when it reopens after an update, instead of jumping back to Attack. The restored row is also scrolled into view.
- Selection is retained for double-click toggles, the Select button, and returning from a numeric settings picker. Numeric picker selections do not overwrite the remembered main-menu row.
- Only a local UI row preference is stored; gameplay settings remain controlled by the server. Depot and unrelated dialogs do not use this preference.
- R5 includes all earlier 3x Autobot/Depot windows and double-click actions. Both the main Windows client and the latest cumulative optional update on Downloads contain it; older patches remain available.
- To update an existing client: close Tibia, back up bin/client.exe, replace it from the R5 optional ZIP, then restart. Minimap files and all other bundled non-executable files are unchanged. No game-server restart is needed.
- Qt 6.9.3 tests passed for repeated toggles and menu recreation, numeric-picker return, remembered-row bounds, layout, keyboard defaults and duplicate-dispatch prevention. Windows in-game confirmation of R5 remains pending.

Autobot: PvE protection and 10-tile search radius
- Search radius now supports 1-10 tiles through !autobot radius 10 and the in-game settings menu. Existing settings and the default of 6 are preserved. Weapon/spell range and line-of-sight rules still apply.
- Autobot ignores other players and player-owned summons, and clears such targets when Attack is enabled.
- While Autobot Attack or Healing/mana/cures is enabled, the server blocks outgoing attacks against players and their summons, including area-combat targets. Disable both combat assists (or use !autobot disableall) before manual PvP. Incoming attacks are unchanged.
- This is a server-side update; the current full client and optional client patch need no new download. Regression tests and private-server startup validation passed; a live two-player acceptance test remains outstanding.

Client R6: larger Autobot buttons and Reset defaults
- The main !autobot menu now has 125x38-pixel Select, Disable all, Stop combat, Close and Reset buttons. Buttons wrap to a second row in smaller windows.
- Reset restores all assists OFF (including independent gold loot), HP threshold 70%, mana threshold 60%, search radius 6 and the vocation's default spell lists. It also clears the current combat target/follow. Close and Escape still only close the menu.
- The cumulative R6 optional client update and full Windows client include the same updated executable, retaining the enlarged Autobot/depot windows, double-click actions and remembered Autobot selection. Older optional downloads remain available; minimap and other archive files are unchanged.
- Existing players: close the client and apply optional R6, backing up bin/client.exe first, or download the updated full client. The larger buttons require this client update; Reset itself is server-side.
- Qt 6.9.3 layout/interaction tests, 146 server assertions and private-server startup validation passed. Real Windows in-game acceptance remains pending.

Gold Pouch: internal coin movement fixed
- Fixed a server restriction that incorrectly blocked moving, splitting and stacking gold, platinum and crystal coins within the Gold Pouch. Taking coins out first is no longer required.
- Store Inbox protections and the Gold Pouch's currency-only restriction remain in place.
- 370 native regression tests and private-world startup validation passed. No client update is required for this server fix. Ruby Coins and the reported sound issue are separate work still in progress.

Ruby Coins R7: required client update
- Ruby Coins are now the next currency tier: 100 Crystal Coins = 1 Ruby Coin = 1,000,000 gold. They have their own shiny red client artwork.
- Money conversion, loot normalization, the Gold Pouch and !autobot gold recognition support Ruby Coins.
- Download the current full client or the cumulative R7 update before logging in. Older client assets are refused with a clear update message so they cannot crash when Ruby Coins are displayed.

Gold Pouch: internal movement rollback
- The recent Gold Pouch change for moving, splitting and stacking coins inside the pouch was reverted after player reports. The pouch again uses its earlier internal coin-movement behavior.
- Ruby Coins, the R7 client update, currency conversion, loot and !autobot support remain unchanged.

Ruby Coin R8 and Gold Pouch movement

- Ruby Coins now use the same transparent item background as every other item; the purple square is gone.
- Coins can be moved, split and stacked freely within the same Gold Pouch, just like in a normal backpack.
- The Gold Pouch remains currency-only when items are put into it, and Store Inbox protections remain active.
- R8 is mandatory: install the latest full client or the cumulative R8 client update before logging in.

Ruby Coin R9: Crystal Coin appearance

- Ruby Coins now use the exact Crystal Coin sprite shapes and stack stages, recoloured only in shimmering ruby red.
- The normal transparent item background remains intact.
- R9 is mandatory: install the latest full client or the cumulative R9 client update before logging in.

Ruby Coin R10: dark-red outer rim

- Ruby Coins retain the Crystal Coin silhouette but now have an explicit dark-ruby-red outer rim and ruby-red fill; no blue coin border remains.
- The normal transparent item background remains intact.
- R10 is mandatory: install the latest full client or the cumulative R10 client update before logging in.

AutoBot: reachable targets only

- AutoBot Attack now selects only PvE monsters on the same floor with a clear line of sight.
- For extended melee range, it additionally requires a valid, bounded path into attack range. The bot never follows or walks the character.
- If a current target becomes blocked, unreachable, dead, or invalid, AutoBot clears it and stops any automatic attack-spell attempts.
- PvE-only targeting and the existing no-chasing behaviour are unchanged.

Ruby Coin R11: red loot-value frame

- Corrects the separate blue loot-value frame around Ruby Coins in container slots, including the Gold Pouch. Both the under-item and over-item effects now render ruby red, retaining their transparency.
- R10 changed the coin sprite itself; R11 corrects the separate client frame. Other items keep their existing frame colours.
- Close the client completely and install the cumulative R11 update, including bin/client.exe, or download the updated full client. All previous client updates and Ruby assets are included; personal settings and minimap are preserved. No server restart is required.

Client R12, combat logout, and Fire Sword delivery

- R12 makes both red Ruby Coin loot-value frame layers approximately 30% darker and less bright while preserving their transparency. Other item frames remain unchanged. The cumulative R12 update and the full client contain all previous patches.
- Normal logout is now allowed while the character has combat status. Map tiles explicitly marked as no-logout still retain their intended boss or quest restriction.
- One Fire Sword was delivered to Deidaron's equipped 25 Years Backpack.
- Close the client completely before installing R12 and replace bin/client.exe. Personal settings and minimap remain unchanged.

Party gold duplication
- Every joined party member now receives the full gold, platinum, crystal and Ruby Coin value from regular monster loot, regardless of distance or shared experience settings.
- Coins go to each player's configured Gold containers, loot pouch or backpack. Any amount that cannot fit goes to their bank; automatic banking is respected.
- Each corpse pays out once. Solo loot and non-currency items are unchanged.

Client R13 - 6 September 2026
Ruby Coins now match the deep crimson of the Bag You Covet. All eight 32x32 sprites retain their original dimensions, outlines and transparency. Includes all R12 client features. Install the complete R13 cumulative update before logging in.

Client R9 notes: recolour and controls

- Ruby Coins use the exact Crystal Coin sprite shapes and stack stages, recoloured only in ruby red; this mandatory client update also includes all R8, R7 and R6 changes.
- In numeric settings pickers (Autobot, Depot), double-click a value to open its picker, then double-click a value in the picker to apply it.
- The normal 500-gold /depot travel fee is unchanged. Enter and Escape still close the /depot menu without charging a fee.
- !autobot and /depot ship with the 3x enlarged windows built directly into the client; no separate UI patch is needed for new installs. Windows are capped to available screen space; bundled minimap files are unchanged.
- Automated Qt layout tests passed; real Windows in-game acceptance is still pending.

Daily Update -- 4 September 2026

Website & client setup: The Windows client setup tool now automatically removes the BattlEye anti-cheat folder while patching your client -- BattlEye is built for CipSoft's official servers and was causing random client crashes/restarts on our server. New players will no longer hit this.

Daily Update -- 4 September 2026

Balance & Marketplace: Every tradeable item on the Marketplace now has hundreds of buy and sell offers (previously only a handful), and every item that can reasonably be traded is listed, including rare/unique gear that was missing entirely before (e.g. Epiphany, Blessed Shield) -- these are priced as serious long-term goals rather than pocket change. General loot rate and the bonus rate for rare drops were both cut in half. The auto-attack/auto-heal bot now casts spells as fast as your mana allows instead of once every few seconds, but only while an enemy is actually within reach -- it will no longer fire spells at nothing. It also reacts noticeably faster overall, and clicking to walk somewhere yourself now always takes priority over the bot trying to walk you to loot. Added a new, independent "loot gold only" toggle for the bot.

Daily Update -- 4 September 2026

Bug fixes: Fixed the Cassino gambling NPC ignoring "High", "Low", "Odd" and "Even" answers (it only understood exact lowercase spelling before). Fixed several ship captains listing a destination in their sailing list but then refusing to actually sail there. Fixed /depot sometimes placing you in a corner you could not walk out of. Fixed the Store's Death Redemption item: it could be bought over and over with no effect -- it now correctly restores the experience, skill and magic level lost in your most recent death, once per death, within 24 hours of dying. Fixed the gold pouch not being selectable as the "Obtain" container for the Gold category in Manage Containers. Removed the automatic disconnect for staying idle too long -- you will no longer be kicked for being AFK.

Combat, Party & Travel Improvements
Knights now fight and cast their attack spells (Brutal Strike, Annihilation) from a longer melee range, not just when standing right next to an enemy.

Potions and runes are unlimited - no charges used, no cooldown between uses.

House prices were cut to a tenth of their old cost, and there is no longer a limit on how many houses one account can bid on or own.

Party experience is now shared 100% between members regardless of distance, and Deidaron and Bedlam are automatically placed in the same party whenever both are online.

A new /depot command teleports you straight to any depot you have visited before (or your last one), and /depot status lists every depot you have already unlocked.
